Installation of 6 x Powrmatic Radiant Tube Heaters with Herringbone Flue System
Scope of Work
- Safely isolated, disconnected, and removed the existing radiant tube heaters
- Installed six Powrmatic radiant tube heaters, including full flue system installation in a herringbone arrangement for safe and efficient discharge
- Carried out all required builders’ works, including wall and roof penetrations for the new flue routes, fire-stopping, and reinstatement of building fabric
- Completed all associated gas installation works, including supply pipework, isolation valves, pressure testing, and purging in line with IGEM standards
- Ensured correct clearances, suspension, and fixing of heaters to meet both manufacturer and regulatory requirements
- Coordinated with electrical contractors for connection of power supplies and controls
- Conducted full testing and commissioning of the radiant tube heating system, ensuring safe operation, efficiency, and compliance with gas safety regulations
- Delivered project handover with all relevant certification and O&M documentation
