Blue Coat School Coventry

Hinckley Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd were pleased to deliver a major heating plant room upgrade at Blue Coat School, Coventry, improving the reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of the building’s heating infrastructure.

The project involved the replacement of aging Potterton boilers within the theatre plant room with a modern high-efficiency system. Our team installed three Worcester Bosch 7000 100kW frame-mounted boilers configured in a side-by-side cascade arrangement, complete with a new low loss header, interconnecting pipework, shunt pumps, and upgraded gas train.

All works were carried out while maintaining safe access and site management procedures, including temporary fencing, scaffold access to roof level, and careful coordination with the school environment.

The completed installation provides the school with a modern, energy-efficient heating solution designed for reliability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
